Description:This is the second vehicle converted at the ZEVA workshop. Many of the components were sourced from the MX5, which is being upgraded shortly with more powerful componentry.
Steve lives at the top of Kalamunda Hill so we decided to retain the gearbox to make it a little easier on the motor when it is pulling the car up the hill.
We've had the prototype ZEVA controller in this vehicle for testing. It currently offers 600A maximum, but will be replaced by a 1000A Logisystems controller shortly to get a bit more torque from the motor.
